"Are you finished yet Atalanta?" I asked her for the tenth time today.
"Almost Marty," she brushed me off, "Ooh this one says it lets you attract wealth like a magnet!"
"I'm sure it does, so can you buy it already so we can move on?" I prompted her to leave.
"Just a second, hey shopkeeper how much for this one," she ignored me.
"Ten platinum pieces," the shopkeeper muttered as he focused on his book.
"Ten plats!" Atalanta shrieked, "What kind of crooked swindle shack are you running here?"
"Ten platinum pieces," the shopkeeper repeated. Atalanta puffed her cheeks in protest, but the shopkeeper didn't even bother to look up from his book. Once she realized her protests fell on deaf ears she gave up and put the bottle down.
"Ready to go now?" I inquired optimistically.
"One more minute," she shook her head, "there's got to be something at this shop that isn't a complete rip-off."
"Good luck with that," I sighed. I reached down into my pocket and checked the contents. I felt about seven or eight loose pieces of silver, and my wallet which had a total of about three and half gold pieces. It's about a hundred silver pieces to a gold piece, and a hundred gold to a plat. So, yeah fishing for a deal is about all we've got.
"Ooh, this one let's you talk to plants!" Atalanta glowed as she picked up another bottle.
"Fifteen platinum pieces," the shopkeeper announced, which was met with another of Atalanta's cries of frustration. This was going to be a long day.

Fair warning if you decide to look them up, there's some slightly steamy stuff in their portfolio, but overall they've got a lot of quality art.
As for the story itself, I saw this image and the story came naturally. Personally, I want to write more about these two characters, but I haven't come up with anything yet.
