What even is the good life?

Is it a solid day-to-day?

Is it an endless stream of adventure?

Is it enough to make it to the end of each day as well as you were the previous?

Does every day need improvement?

Does every holiday need to be a grand trek?

Does every break have to be so small?

Are off-hours meant for recovery or recreation?

Is it enough to say you sip the good wine on a comfy chair?

Is it enough to say you bask in luxury earned from the fruits of your labor?

Is it enough to say you’ve changed the world?

Is it enough to say you simply don’t have a bad life?

Is it enough to say it could be worse?

Do you need more than the next person to say you’re living the good life?

Do you need as much as someone else who says they live the good life?

Do you only need as much as you say you need?

What if you didn’t know what it means to live the good life, how could you tell?

Is there really an answer?

What even is the good life?

How can one truly be certain they've lived a good life? A bad life is one thing, but what does it even mean to live the good life? Who decides it, who defines it, who encompasses it?
