Eclectic Narratives - Sudden Snow

Snow so sudden, past the embrace of winter.

Cold still lingered, but now it is beyond frigid.

Spring not too far, yet the flowers do not bloom.

The weeks ahead, full of sunlight and warmth.

The day now, buried under an endless snowfall.

What an odd time it is, at the end of winter’s reign.

The last gasp of winter, or the first sign of a cold spring?

It is darkest before the dawn, perhaps it is coldest before the spring.

Yet, the snow continues to fall.

Yet, the warmth remains in the near future.

Is this the new trend, or but a curious moment in time?

The future will tell, but for now, there is only snow.

Even in March it's still winter for a time, watch out for those last minute snows, they hit when you're least prepared.
