Eclectic Narratives - Into The Night

The hours tick by.

The night is no longer young.

The moon hangs high in the sky.

The darkness surrounds every corner.

Exhaustion bites at the corners of your eyes.

Yet, the excitement never ended.

The revelry lasted into the earliest hours of the morning.

Eating, drinking, playing, and laughing until you do so no longer.

What a time to be alive.

Errors may have been made, and memories were formed.

It was a marathon and nothing less.

But you still came to the end and achieved all you could.

What more could you want than a golden ending to cap off the night?

The ride back home under the light of the stars was elevated by the sensation of achievement.

Now all there is left to ask is, what to do next time?

There are few pleasures as great as a long joyous night.

Blog Note: Unfortunately, with my change in work schedule and hours, I can't see myself keeping up with a post per week (honestly, I've been barely keeping up with my schedule for the past year), especially with Maid in Fantasy (so much for getting Volume 4 done faster than the last one). With a heavy heart, I'm moving down to a post every other Tuesday as my regular schedule. With this in mind, poems and shorter material will probably be reduced in number, if not to bonus posts outright. I used to do them as quick material to keep up my schedule (back when it was two posts a week), but now that won't be as necessary (hopefully).
