A fresh start, a new start.
It should be clean, it should be easy.
The clutter and chaff of the past are discarded.
No more worried about past problems.
No more cares for those ongoing niggles.
A new horizon opens wide, free of the shackles of legacy problems.
But it isn’t always so easy.
New starts bring new problems.
New problems bring new stresses.
New stresses beget remorse for your choice to start anew.
If you hadn’t started a new, hadn’t wiped away what came before.
If you had just stayed where you were, these new problems wouldn’t haunt you.
If you had just stayed where you were, you’d be better off…right?
It’s easy to say, easy to assume.
A comfort zone, a known factor.
Those old problems would still be there, and future problems would still come.
And when you think about it, hasn’t this always been a risk?
Last time you started anew, didn’t you have new problems to face?
And what happened then?
You eventually solved them, of course.
It’s easy to say you should have stayed.
But how would you know for sure?

Times change when choices are made. It's easy to blame any new problems on the presence of the new and different, but who is to say that you'd be any better off if things hadn't changed?
Until next time, Read, Comment and Enjoy.
